A short essay of comparison and contrast:
Many people in weste and easte cultures believe that “ birds of a feather flock together”, in a sense that our social rank, economic status and level of literacy should fit our friends’ in order to have a better mutual understanding and enjoy the benefits of an appropriate friendship. If it were nothing but a deal, the statement might be true. But, history of human relationships shows that length of a friendship has been hard to measure based on these predetermined factors.
Taking a brief, but critical, look at ordinary human relationships in comparison with a more unusual one which, although unacceptable to some groups of people, is as long as the hills, the relation between humans and dogs, we are to see how even biological differences can be inconsiderable when speaking of friendship. In other words, many a dog forms so lifelong and loyal a friendship that very few humans are capable of doing so.
As a generally accepted fact which can be effortlessly proved by an observation, dogs’ unswerving loyalty is legendary. Having known a human as her/his friend, a dog most probably never leave the person unless death sever their friendship or the human side puts an end to the relationship through deserting the dog in an unknown and unknowable place. Dogs require nothing for their loyalty but their friends’ attention, while all their attention and care are devoted to their friends.
